HOW TO USE YON-KA LOTION – EXPERT TIPS

So many of you love the Yon-Ka Lotion Toning Mist, and in this post, Yon-Ka trainer Michelle Ryan explains the different ways it can be used every day. You might find a brand new way to use it!

The key ingredients in the Yon-Ka Lotion are lavender, geranium, rosemary, cypress, and thyme.  These make up the iconic Yon-Ka Quintessence and are at the heart of the brand.  The alcohol-free formula both invigorates and energises the skin, whilst hydrating, calming and cooling the skin too.

There are two different versions of the Yon-Ka Lotion, depending on your skin type, but the ways to use it are the same.

HOW TO USE YON-KA LOTION

  • It can be used as a toning step after cleansing, and before your serums and moisturisers.
  • It can be used over your makeup or skincare throughout the day to create all day hydration.
  • Spritz it over your favourite Yon-Ka face mask to keep it moist.
  • You can mist it over your pillowcase at night to create a feeling of relaxation.
  • Mist it on the kids and allow the lavender to create a feeling of calmness.
  • Use it throughout the day to top up hydration levels in the skin when outside.

By applying the Yon-Ka Lotion on cleansed skin and allowing it to slightly dry, leaving your skin damp, this ensures that you use less of your favourite Yon-Ka serum or moisturiser.  The super fine mist gives a veil of freshness to the skin during the day and doesn’t disturb your makeup at all.  And on hot summer days, we recommend leaving it in the fridge for that extra cooling sensation.
